Our small herd of aplacas consist of 2 females (Conchita and Misty), their cria and two neutered males (Sunny and Shasta).

Conchita gave birth to Diego in May and Misty gave birth to Lily in June.  We are looking forward to two more cria next year.

Diego is a dark brown male with black markings around the eyes, ears, mouth and on the legs.  For those in the know, his father is Peruvian Silvio (a beautiful silver male owned by Magical Farms) and
his grandfather is Peruvian Matador (a true black male).  Diego's mother is true black. So Diego has award winning black and silver genes.

Lily, Misty's daughter is a sweet girl with white lovely, dense fiber.  Her father is Wellington (the famous American born male owned by Maple Brook Farm) and her grandfather is Vengador (a well known
white male).

Both of these beautiful cria will be for sale next year.

The alpacas pictured here are:
Conchita - true black (female, born in 1998)
Shasta - white (neutered male, born in 1997)
Misty - white (female, born in 1999)
Sunny - tan (neutered male, born in 1998)

We also have 4 tri-colored nigerian dwarf goats, 3 shetland sheep, 2 babydoll southdown sheep 2 miniature donkeys (Glory and LIza)  and a flock of chickens.

The goats (Jackie, Patches, Calico and Nigel) are very friendly and loved to be combed and brushed. We will be breeding all three females in January and expect to have babies for sell in the spring.

Our shetland sheep (Zack, Delilah and Jezebel) are very shy and usually run away when approached.

The babydoll sheep (Yoda and Daisy) are very friendly and like to be petted.  Both were born in the spring of 2002 and were bottle fed here on our farm.  They are a rare breed of sheep that originated from England.  Their wool is fine and soft (like cashmere).  Maximum height is approximately 21 inches; that and their friendly nature makes them very good animals for children to be around.

Glory (one of our miniature donkeys) is shown in the photo below (courtesy of Audrey Haschemeyer).
